Anne Celeste Heche - an American actress, who appeared in many genres of film, theatre and television - was an incredibly well-known American. Anne Lockhart was born Anne Kathleen Maloney, September 6th 1953. She is an American Actress. She is most well-known for her role as Lieutenant Sheba in the television series Battlestar Galactica (1978-1979). Lockhart is the daughter of actress June Lockhart and granddaughter of actor Gene Lockhart. The career of Lockhart began when she was a child. For T is for Tumbleweed, the first role for Lockhart in a film came aged four. Oscar nominations were announced for the film's short documentary. There is a rumor that Anne was not interested in playing Laurie Strode, the character in John Carpenter's 1978 horror film, Halloween. The part was played by Jaime Lee Curtis. Carpenter claimed that Anne was his first choice for the part, but she refused. Anne isn't sure if she remembers John Carpenter contacting her or suggesting the role. There is a chance that her agent rejected the offer for her without informing her. Glen Larson, who had provided her with the first draft script of a part in the television series Battlestar Galactica from 1978, at first, she was chosen. The actress initially refused the role due to the fact that she thought that the character wasn't strong enough. Glen developed a different character to play Sheba, which was much more powerful. After she read the initial 25 pages of the story The Living Legend she accepted the part immediately. It ran for a single season. She co-starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the film Joyride (1977) and also co-starred along with Michael Moriarty in the horror film The Dark Tower (1987).
